"We were blessed to have our wedding reception... at Rocking M Ranch in December 2023. Max & Cathy Meek are absolute pros at hosting events and they made sure everything ran smoothly. All of the guests enjoyed this beautiful venue. We were exceedingly blessed with A++ Perfect Texas weather, so folks enjoyed moving back and forth from indoors & outdoors, plenty of seating, truly just a comfortable space - yet it's classy. Sometimes comfy doesn't always equal classy - but it does at Rocking M. Rocking M has a sound system which we utilized. Cathy also has the most gorgeous pedestal for a wedding cake... Our theme was Christmas, and, even though the weather was pleasant, Cathy & Max made my wishes come true by lighting fires in both fireplaces. Thank you to the Meek's and Rocking M for making this a beautiful day for this Bride."

"We had our dream wedding at Rocking M Ranch! The owners Max and Cathy Meek are wonderful. They catered to our every need to make sure everything was perfect! This venue is gorgeous. I love the pond with frogs and waterlillies. My favorite part was having our after party in the pool and hottub! The house was very clean and cozy. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Rocking M had all the tables, chairs, [and] serving dishes... already there. They have a wonderful dance floor as well. This venue had everything we were looking for and more. Would highly recommend to everyone!"

"Where to begin? We were last minute trying to find a location for our wedding because we wanted a particular date and everywhere else was booked. We came across this gem after a corporate event here. The owners were so sweet and accommodating to the small private wedding we had in our minds and turned it into a reality. They were so helpful before, during, and after. [Rocking M Ranch] lended itself well to our intimate wedding with the amount of people we had there. The rooms had plenty of beds, but... we just used it for the day to get dressed... Our friends that came to our wedding really enjoyed the venue, too, and we are all already thinking about a friends weekend there to enjoy the fire pit sitting area and cooling off in the pool during the summer heat. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding, corporate retreat or just to have some friends out in the peaceful country. The staff was amazing, venue is beautiful and accommodating and I would gladly recommend to others!"

"Our stay during Thanksgiving week was 5 star plus. The ranch has practically everything, with ample space, indoors and out. Two kitchens to accommodate a Thanksgiving feast, and numerous spaces to dine, while celebrating with family. The solitude of the wide outdoor space, contributed to our relaxing, and rejuvenating [trip]. For the past several years our family has looked... for a home to accommodate our needs... "This is a beautiful home and a perfect setting for larger groups to smaller gatherings! We hosted a pre-wedding party for 20 people, and everyone from the 1-year-old to the 93-year-old enjoyed walking the spacious grounds, playing cornhole, plus splashing in the pool and hot tub. The multiple dining areas and well-stocked kitchen could handle our waffle bar brunch and BBQ lunch. The flexible house layout also allowed the little ones to have quiet rooms for naps. For the eight of us staying at the house, the living areas were cozy and inviting for animated games and conversation. Cathy was quick to respond to our questions, and she provided a terrific place for creating lasting memories. And the ranch is secluded enough that several from our party could watch a meteor shower from the front driveway."

"Beautiful, peaceful and very spacious. Perfect for our annual family trip. The beds are very comfortable. No bunk beds which is rare for a rental for large groups, but which was a huge reason why we chose Rocking M Ranch. Bunk beds are... not ideal for adults. I would definitely recommend it for large groups."

"If you are looking for a great time this place is it! My daughter had her first birthday here and it was incredible! They even made my daughter fresh brownies! So thoughtful! They were delicious too! Everybody had a great time and loved the house! They don’t bombard you with a ton of rules and clean up is a breeze! Everything was spotless! There were lots of pool towels for everybody! I highly recommend and can’t wait for our next booking!!"
